Budapest part III

Yesterday was one boring day. The biggest dilemma for me was when to make an appointment at a hairdresser. I've found a little time to choose photos for the third post from Budapest. This post will be dedicated to my impressions and (hopefully) to spread useful advices. I liked the city and my recommendation is to visit it during the summer because it is more beautiful than during the winter. Although our guide said that Budapest lives of two holidays eighth of March and New Year. For me the city seemed much more alive last August than this winter. Pay attention to pickpocketers , because they are around all year long (as in most capitals). The currency of Hungary is the forint, the exchange rate varies, so it did not surprise us that we got more money on second January than 31st December. Effect of currency is reflected in the price, so winter discount is not as big as in other countries where I was shopping. Unfortunately, we had only two hours for shopping during the first day and two hours during the last day of our trip . I bought a skirt in Stradivarius and that's all, this is mostly because I do not like shopping under pressure. The first day we were in the shopping center Arena Plaza that everyone say it is the best shopping center in Budapest, to me it did not leave such an impression. Unlike him WestEnd is huge and has many more stores, but I was literally sick from the heat and crowd, so the magic of shopping in it I did not feel. As for the traditional cuisine I do not like goulash and I had no desire to try it. I've been eatting in the Italian restaurants and some fast food  (I love KFC). We were also in a small town near Budapest named St. Andrea and there is a wonderful museum of marzipan. The sculptures are fascinating, see for yourself .

Bili smo i u jednom  gradiću blizu Budimpešte Sv. Andrea gdje se nalazi predivan muzej marcipana. Skulpture su fascinantne, uvjerite se i sami.
